General Dub

General Dub was an international artists collective which published 5 records. Their artists were from different art disciples like music or graphic design as writing or video design. Nowaday, this collective is no more in activity.

The idea of their artists was to joint together around a common project based on dub music and create a satirical picture of our society. They start to imagine the world of tomorrow. To show the ruins of a system which is heading for disarster.

The story wants that every members of General Dub got some information from the future by a file joint to an email. Like this, after many deciphering handling, they produce an apocalyptic sound vision of the future by a very dark and heavy dub music.

For this project, every artist decide to choose a nickname and remain anonymous: they are mainly French and musicians of band such lab°, Sergent Garcia, Micropoint or AinSophAur.
